People’s generosity never ceases to amaze me.

As we have watched the devastation that has hit Australia over the past weeks and wonder if people will ever get through this horrid time we see the wonderful generosity of people from all over the world. We here in Australia have been so stunned by these horrific tradgedies of fires and floods that it is really hard to comprehend the magnitude of the whole situation.

At this time I am feeling a little blessed to live south of the floods and north of the fires.

On a brighter note I have a couple of photos of some pies.

P2110089  As I watch so many of these quilts come together it is amazing to see how people put different combinations of fabric together and they all look fantastic.

If you have started on your pie journey send me some photos so we can all share the excitement of this beautiful quilt coming together. Some of the ladies have gotten soooo carried away they have requested BOF’s.  That is Block of the fortnight. Now that is dedication don’t you think?

Today I have a full day teaching at Cooroy Drapery. Both classes are beginners. I just love teaching beginners classes and seeing the joy on peoples faces as they embrace the art of patchwork and wonder why it has taken them so long to get started.

Till next time,
