Today is Saturday

Yes, that is right today is Saturday and I believe that there are many patchworkers out there from all over the world making Klosjes or Spools.

I have noticed that particularly in the Netherlands, Saturday is Klosjes/spools day.

What are they? They are commonly known as spool blocks and they can be made in various sizes.

Well here at Busyfingers we have been bitten by the Klosjes bug too but, we are making them whenever we have time.

Gail who happens to be my office manager extrodinaire is a mad Patchworker as well. We have a combined effort going on here and are making them 5" finished.

We are English paper piecing them in reproduction fabrics with a very scrappy look.

This is what the papers look like. 4 – 5" Klosjse and 1- 2" square

Aren't they fabulous and they are a great stash buster.

Make as many or as few as you want.
