Time flies with the Quilted Crows

Gosh it has been a week tomorrow since I got back from Crow Central in Tasmania.

Those girls sure do know how to hold a gathering day. The shop looked so beautiful as always.

It has to be up there as one of the most beautiful shops that I have had the priviledge to teach in.

It was a little cold as you can see by the windscreen of the car.

Once we arrived at the shop we warmed up with hot coffee and wonderful treats to eat.

The girls did amazing displays

My second range of fabric “Twig and Grace” looked so beautiful

Can you see the boxes in the photo. Yes, you see right they are great project boxes that have been made using my fabric designs.

Display
Yep even some of my brighter side patterns. The shop is still full of my quilts, patterns and fabrics so if you are near by stop in and have a look.

After an amazing day I was able to spend a few extra days at Crow Central with the girls where we worked on our collaborative quilt for “INDULGE” Winter in the Hinterland Retreat on the Sunshine Coast at the end of August where the girls will be joining me as my guest tutors.

Leonie and Deirdre are the absolute experts in wool applique.

If you ever get the opportunity to do a class with them don’t hesitate. They have some wonderful, unique techniques and their designs are beautiful.

We have some exciting stuff happening here at Busyfingers so stay tuned as all will be revealed in the next few days.

Till then
