The winners are???

Thankyou everyone who sent in their names and ideas for an Arts and Craft centre.

Lots of wonderful ideas. I liked the way everyone was so specific in what they would have. I have taught in a lot of places and each one is very different to the next.

So I have made my choices and it was very difficult.

I would call my shop "Threads of Friendship",I would also try and have a weekly or monthly giveaway anything from pins to patterns make it a treasure hunt, also if the shop is big enough have a male creche area

Val – Who chose the name "Threads of Friendship" and her idea of a male creche was a wonderful idea.

I loved both the name and the idea but have given her the prize for the male creche. The reason is because that is exactly what I would do. Check him in which Tea/ coffee and cake. Reclining chairs, big screen TV and some magazines.

What more could a woman ask for?

For the name I have chosen

I have a idea for your giveaway. Here it goes. My shop would be called "Patchwork and Pies". I would have a few tables so that anyone who wishes to sit and have coffee and a fresh piece of pie could and also a front counter where you could purchase a whole pie for home. My materials would be close with samples of quilts and my quilting classes would be where everyone could see incase they were interested in taking a class. Angie

Pies to take home. What a great idea. Who wants to cook after they have been sewing all day at their favourite shop. Not me that's for sure.

And because of the "Pie and Tart" quilt what else would I call it.

If you could both send me your addresses so that I can send your patterns

Congratulations and I hope you enjoy them.

Here is a picture of the pattern you will be receiving. "Waterloo"

Made with the new "French General" fabric

Waterloo 2

My next post will be all the way from Houston

So stay safe.

Till next time
