The Quilted Crow

Leonie and Deirdre sure know how to put on a gathering.

Their new shop, in the not so little church was the perfect venue. It would be one of the nicest little old churches I have seen.

Nooks and crannies everywhere and the girls also join the ranks of some of the best Australian designers.

They specialise in reproduction fabric and they also dye their own wool which they also incorporate into many of their designs.

Watch out Australia I have a feeling these girls are destined for great things.

Just a word of warning about my photos. I may be able to design and sew but photography is definately not my thing. So I appologise as they are a bit fuzzy.

The night before and as you can see the preparation had only just begun.

It started with pizza a drink. The girls worked tirelessly into the early hours of the morning getting everything ready.

The stained glass windows are magnificent.

Here we are at the end of the day.

The other tutor for the day was Simone Gooding and of course it is Helen Stubbings home town so she also spent the day with us.

It is always so nice to make new friends and catch up with old ones.

Keep up the good work girls your shop is an absolute credit to you both.

Till next time

Sue
