Oldenzaal – I just love this little town

I visited this little town last year and I just loved it. The only difference this year was that it had stopped snowing.

The shop is Lohuis/Tijhuis and this year Matilda Lohuis will have owned it for 38 years.

It is in a quaint little town.

I had 2 days with 3 classes here.

One of the ladies bought her Pie and Tarts quilt to show me. It doesn't matter what fabrics are used in this quilt they all look fabulous. Kaffe Fassett and black. Isn't it great.

Next door to the shop is a little florist. Nothing like I have ever seen before.

These are the displays outside the shop lots and lots of daffodils everywhere.

This charming work of art was in the hotel where we stayed.

Too much chocolate I think.

Next we are headed east into East Germany to a little place just outside of Dresden. I am so looking forward to this place.

A Patchwork shop, a museum with old linen and a B&B all rolled into one. What more could a girl ask for?

Stay tuned 3 days of workshops.

Till then
