A Beautiful Quilt

This week has been hectic getting ready for our retreat/workshop with Helen Stubbings from Hugs and Kisses. I am still organising the menu for all the yummy food that will be consumed during the retreat.

I have managed to get some sewing done though. I have done some more 6″ blocks for my Faith, Hope and Love quilt.Pict1883

On Tuesday my very good friend Kay Haydon came over to the coast to visit. She bought with her some of her absolutely beautiful quilts. Here is one that she has done using our 1″ hexagon papers lots of scraps and some magnificent toile fabric. Don’t you just love it.

Well ,there are more where that came from. You will need to come and visit again to see the next one. Tomorrow I am having a day out with Kay, Lynette Anderson and her Dear Jane friend.

I have to tell you that a day shopping with my friend Kay is always a good day. She always finds the best fabric and lots of treasure so I am looking forward to it.
Stay tuned to see what I come home with.

Till next time
